Pearl Care
MAJORICA pearls should be treated with the same care and affection as natural pearls.
To do this, you just need to follow a few simple rules that will protect them and keep them in perfect condition over the years: It is advisable to take MAJORICA necklaces and bracelets to an Official Agent every eight years, to change the silver bead, as well as the thread. , preferably with a knot between each pearl, to prevent tearing, breaking and losing pearls.

Cleaning
Although pearls have the potential to last for decades, they are quite unique in their structure as they are alkaline, making them very vulnerable to certain chemicals.
As such, a simpler approach to maintenance is best, where warm soapy water or a damp cloth works best.
First, gently clean the pearls delicately, making sure to target hard-to-reach areas that need attention.
Once they have been thoroughly rinsed, spread them out on a towel to air dry and avoid using heat.
Once it has been verified that there is no water left in them, they should be carefully cleaned with a soft cotton cloth or chamois.
If your pearls are on a necklace, make sure it is completely dry before wearing, as moisture can cause them to stretch.
